Please get out there and vote! I’d love to see record turnout numbers.
Things I’d also like to see, in order of importance:
- A Barack Obama win (of course)
- A Prop 8 (CA) loss
- An Al Franken (MN-Sen) win
- A Michelle “anti-American” Bachmann (MN-6) loss
Tonight, I’ll either be on the fringes of Barack’s Grant Park party — or staring at DirecTV channel 352.

What’s my second one? Record turnout? Eh, perhaps not. I’m waiting on my half, though — Franken may just pull it out.
And yes, Nick and I went to Grant Park. We were in one of the overflow areas (my chronic laziness prevented me from scoring tickets when I had the chance) but it was cool nonetheless. Huge crowd, great energy.

Franken was in our store yesterday. I brightly said, “Good to see you, Senator!” and he kind of half-grunted, half-smiled and kept walking.

I wonder if the “no certification until court challenges are finished” policy will be changed after all this… though let’s face it, there won’t be another election this close for awhile (I hope!)
